Using/changing Delta status when flying as low status KLM member
I have a KLM flight late this year which will tip me over the diamond threshold, but I'd rather rollover 47K miles as I'll be doing less flying in 2020 so a big rollover will help keep me at platinum. If I fly the 2019 leg as a non-status KLM flyer (collecting FB points), can I still use my Delta status to say use the priority check-in?
Then as the return leg is in 2020 it'd be nice to flip back to my Delta persona so I get the miles and extra baggage as we'll be bringing an extra case back. Can I change which program I collect on part way through a trip?
