HUH? I'm talking about total calls to DL, specifically the DM line, for any reason,
I am not saying any of your reasons for calling are bad. I am saying I think Delta thinks you are high maintenance. |

I am talking about that too. I am trying to recall if I have called Delta this year on anything. Looks like I got this current cell phone in May and have no Delta call history. If I call, it is usually IROPS.

And it’s impossible you call once every 50 flights. I requalify for DM with that many flights.

I am not completely sure that Delta cares how many times you call in (I am sure they track it), but probably more concerned about how many waivers and favors you request and receive or are denied.
Many years ago they had limits on the number of waivers you could obtain in a period. Then they came up with SDC and SDS, which many people take advantage of in the course of their travels. I can completely see them limiting this in the future, if they feel they are losing revenue. Like so many other things over the years, with less competition, Delta does not have the need to "give things away". If the competition does it, everyone will follow along. Look at all the other changes one airline or another has done and eventually, everyone else manages to do just about the same. |

... OTOH, maybe DL could put SDC/SDS into (some of) its corporate contracts.
