D1 Europe 98K Roundtrips - Discuss What You Scored!
This is a thread to discuss the recent 98K roundtrip Delta One flash sale to Europe.

Was anyone able to find any long-haul flights departing (or even connecting through) ATL this year? The only ones I found were ATL-DUS or ATL-BRU. No thanks.
I DID SCORE:
ATL-LHR-FCO-PSA (ATL-LHR on a "new interior" 764)
ZAG-AMS-DTW-ATL (AMS-DTW on an A350 with suites)
ATL-DTW-AMS-ATH (DTW-AMS on an A350 with suites)
KRK-AMS-LHR-ATL (LHR-ATL on a "new interior" 764, and I'll finally get to try the Clubhouse)
SAN-DTW-FCO-VCE and back
What did others buy? Show off and discuss!

I saw tons of availability from NYC to various destinations, but the 98k required a 7-day stay, so it's a no-go given other travel needs and vacation time...
There were definitely some connection options through ATL, but many nonstops or connections through BOS/CVG/DTW and of course CDG/AMS.

I did see a lot of the hub-to-hub transatlantic departure points being BOS, JFK, CVG, MSP, and sometimes DTW or SEA....but I didn't see anything show up on suites or new equipment (new insides) outside of DTW-AMS, ATL-LHR, and JFK-ZRH.

Saw a bunch ex-RDU but unfortunately our week-long spring trip is already set for Japan (with tickets booked for NH F via VS) so unfortunately couldn't take advantage since any Europe trips will have to be shorter and later in the year.
I did see a few connecting through ATL -- I had posted in a thread that was since removed a couple of itineraries to FCO that permitted DL 64/65 (ATL - FCO/FCO - ATL on the A330) when departing RDU.

Nothing. The only MSP route was LHR.
With the seven day stay requirement, it's too hard to do positioning flights.
I wasn't too eager anyway at this point as I'm concerned about MQMs and MQDs for next year.

I got DCA-JFK-VCE and DCA-MSP-AMS-ARN.
I do wonder if schedule changes enough I might be able to switch DCA-MSP-AMS to IAD-AMS on KLM or if these discount tickets are permanently tied to Delta Medal, have to wait and see.

I mostly saw connections via BOS and some CVG.
I *had* gotten the following:
RDU-CDG-VIE
AMS-DTW-RDU
But there were no A350s DTW-AMS on my dates and realistically, would have preferred going in May or later. Our plan was to zip through Germany, but we really wanted to do it over 2 weeks and don't extra days with an upcoming 2.5 weeks in Maldives/SE Asia.
I ended up cancelling.

Pedestrian JFK-LHR. Couldn't find anything out of WAS for my dates, and the LHR options from other cities had restrictive blackout and validity dates.
I'll have to position, but that's fine.

I believe the fare rules specified DL metal over-the-water.

I got MKE-BOS-AMS-LIS-AMS-MSP-MKE during Easter vacation. I am pleased with that although I could not find anything available with D1 Suites. Still, I am very happy with “regular” D1 for 98,000 SM. Normally this route goes for at least 300,000 SM if not more.

Unlike OP, we actually wanted to go to BRU. I got 4X ATL-BRU over spring break (mid-March). Couldn’t find anything from other (closer) southeastern cities outside ATL for our dates (and that was to anywhere in Europe), so I assume that DL didn’t make many seats on connecting flights available.

What at dates did you book that suites were on MSP-AMS?
