DL DM desk agent said the oft-repeated mantra that of all their partners, AF is by far the most difficult to work with on their end. Almost like they routinely make it up as they go or however they happen to be feeling that day.

With the French?! Who'da thunkit?

It's like BA within OW. They constantly (especially in US) tell OWE/S that they can't enter BA lounge if not on BA. (We're not talking about Concorde room, which are exempted from OW policy)

The policy is conflicting and really needs to be harmonized. If DL had the correct info we wouldn’t have bothered going to A (our connection is at B74).
THe policy is NOT conflicting and already has been "harmonized". The skyteam rules prevail here, and AF is wrong.

They could be wrong but the agents still feel in a power trip and use the rules at their convenience.
