In theory it's a good idea but I just don't see it working out for me :( I don't fly Delta that much anymore.

Worked for me. I wonder if I can use the $25 credit with a different delta gift card other than the one I purchased though

I was curious about the same thing, the T&C state: "Delta eCredits cannot be combined with a Delta Gift Card for redemption."

I'm still in for one.

I bought one, then realized the eCredit expires 12/31/2019. Not a particular problem, just expected the eCredit to be valid for 1 year (as is normally the case).
