Currently ⅔ of the way across the Atlantic, ferrying to ATL.

Flying this flight tomorrow night... Looks like another 752 bites the dust 😢😢

Been to PDL before- the winds can get quite gusty.

I had a rough takeoff....well, attempted takeoff last week on AA. 😳

120 knots to zero on aborted takeoff just now!

From what I’ve read and heard, they are saving it. It was due for heavy mx anyway.

Ship 5643 will be repaired by Flightstar at Jacksonville-Cecil Field under the guise of the FAA/Boeing/Delta. Boeing engineers have developed a repair manifest that will be carried out by Flightstar. The commitment to return the ETOPS equipped 75H to service should reiterate Delta's commitment to continue flying the 757-200 fleet well into the next decade. And given the 199 seat configuration, the aircraft is more profitable than under earlier seating schemes with DL and NW.

Don't know if it's been reported...but, the aircraft is at the hanger in ATL and, supposedly I'm told, will be back in service.

Saw the Antonov back at ATL on Tuesday. I'm really curious about what parts or equipment drove the requirement to charter the large Antonov for this purpose.

I wondered that myself.... the Antonov was there Saturday morning when I flew out.

Perhaps fabrication equipment, metal, and spare parts?

From PAE as was noted in post above. So a Boeing part (no surprise there) or equipment that DL didn’t have.

A lot of really big jack stands (at least that is what they looked like). Lots of other stuff too of course. I saw pictures on an MSP airport spotter FaceBook group. So they are probably elsewhere on the internet as well.
