Checked bags
We are flying tomorrow on two separate tickets. DSM-MSP (coach) and MSP-LHR (delta one). We are checking bags through to London from Des Moines. Can you tell me if we’ll be granted the additional baggage allowance as far as weight goes for the Delta One flight? Our bags are 55lbs and 53lbs...but flying delta one, we’d be allowed 70lbs.
Thoughts? Thank you!!

DL is not obligated to do so, but likely will.
Make certain that you have a printed copy of your e-ticket receipt (not itinerary) for your second ticket as that assists the check in agent in locating the other details and correctly printing a tag. The easier you make it....
