I find it more comfortable than C+. I think it has more recline than C+ as well as a foot rest. However, I am short (5’2”) and generally small. I don’t know how the foot rest works for tall people.
The PE seats on VS are more comfortable than on Delta because they are wider.

Premium Select has enough pitch (38") that even the increased recline will not affect your comfort. For comparison, a lot of Delta's Domestic F fleet is only 36" in pitch (some are 37"). That said, if a passenger fully reclines, you may have some issues using a laptop if it is large.

Usually they are pretty universally panned as they are fixed-shell seats (i.e., when you "recline" your seat moves forward rather than the back moving down). Since you do not recline, this may not be an issue.

Answering my own question in case it helps any one out.
I rolled the dice and came up short- no pun intended. The middle rows have have substantially more leg room than the left and and right bulk head. I was almost tempted to put my foot on the *gasp!* bulkhead wall. Very uncomfortable 12 hours.

while af pe is insanely uncomfortable, 10 across in y on the 777 is also a automatic no for me. i avoid af 777 unless im in j. ironicially, the af 777 j seat is one of my favorites due to the extremely large cubby for my feet

I have a flight later this week on the 777 and am sitting in the bulkhead row of Premium Economy. I am interested to see how the leg room experience is there. I think it will be pretty good given that it eliminates the prospect of someone reclining into one's space.
