DL 737-500?? Where did they dig that up from??

On DL 1724 SLC to EWR on 6/20. Originally on a 737-900 and got a flight change alert that the new aircraft is a 737-500. Confirmed in the DL app that the flight is a 737-500. However, I do not see DL flying the 737-500 any longer in its aircraft fleet listing. Anyone have any insight? Is this a result of the recent Boeing 737 NG/Max wing repair bulletin??

If you do a search this has been discussed before. If I remember, It's just the system not understanding the code difference between an ETOPS certified and non-certified 739.

Not sure on NG, but DL has zero MAX aircraft.

I think the entire DL fleet of 737's is NG. You are correct on the Max - nothing to be found here.

I saw a post on another website alerting of the glitch. Strange.
