PDX Connection Glitch?

Can anyone explain why PDX continues to show up as a connection on a number of different routes, even though PDX doesn't offer service on most of these routings.

There is a connection through PDX. Try 947, 1741 and 4723.

It's not valid for through fares (which only allow SLC connections), but delta.com will price out broken fare options through PDX and SLC. If you click on the fare rules, you will see it is a combination of SEA-PDX and PDX-LGB fares.
