I say yes...

Because if you are upgrade it is part of the Skymile fidelity program,
Each time you buy a ticket , you paid for this program.
If you want to be higher in the list, you just need to buy more of the product.

If you go more far in your thinking... a pax who have take a award ticket, have not paid for is seat, can he use the Y lav in this case... (same with skybonus award, upgrade with miles, ...)

haha true. Or we could ask, should a comp upgrade get a meal choice or a meal at all? NO! Of course, I am joking and benefit from comp upgrades quite a bit.

Announcement made at beginning of DL26 (ICN-ATL)

I am on DL26 in Delta One using a Global Gogoair pass.
An announcement was made a beginning of flight that passengers must not cross the curtains between the different areas.

Glad to see it enforced.

You probably liked the ocean liners like the titanic which had fixed areas?

I must say, I like having the FC lav reserved for first class pax. Now, I admit, are there exceptions in an emergency, yes and I'm okay with that. However, a lot of folks are self centered and have a warped sense of an emergency, so some structure needs to be in place. But I admit, I like have a slightly cleaner and more frequently open lav in first. I think by paying extra for first, this is not an unreasonable expectation. But, of course, YMMV.

Which since your flight is ICN-ATL that request/policy is based on the TSA/DHS regulation that passengers must use the lav in their designated cabin on international flights to the US for TSA/DHS security reasons (I’m not sure what those security reasons are that are different on any other flight though).

Delta made an announcement that in 2020 they’re going to start equipping Y pax with Invisible Fence collars to ensure no one sneaks into the front undetected to defile my lav.

All I can say is, kudos Delta. It’s about time.

I just read the "update" of this announcement, they will incorporate a small electrical shock when you will pass the fence (and more you stay long, more the shock will be strong).

tagged!

If an interloper stays over three minutes, a bell will ring, the door will burst open, and a camera will post a tagged shot on DL's FaceBook.

I'm more worried about people who don't wash their hands after using the lavatory, rather than class of service.
