Retrieving Bag on Layover at ATL: Delays/Cancellations

Hi All,

Currently en route to ATL with an onward connection to ORD and a bag checked through to ORD. Flight is already delayed 90 minutes (original departure around 9:15PM). With the weather they're having, I'm concerned I may be stuck overnight in ATL. In the event of a cancellation, would there be a way to retrieve my bag or would it spend the night at the airport?

Yes. Ask an agent to have them pull your bag.
