Those Shortbread cookies filled with chocolate in FC non meal routes

Anyone know what I'm taking about? They're square cookies with like a pool of chocolate in the middle on one side. Those things are awesome!

Anyone know what type of cookie they're called and who makes them? I wanna try my hand at making them.

Thanks

Michel et Augustin cookies. Nom nom nom.

One of life’s little ironies. Just as I was reading your post the FA put the snack basket in front of me in 1C. Lol.

You mean you didn't take an extra package or two for the road??? They usually fall to the bottom on the basket and get buried underneath the less desirable items in the snack basket, so you really have to dig down to find if they are in there. Because most people don't dig down, there are always extras.

I should add that there are always extras unless I happen to be on your flight

They are excellent, they are also easy to find at least in the Los Angeles area (Gelsons market has them and I'm sure others do too).

Did the FA collect the wrapper before you ate the cookie and you realized you liked it?

They're on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0733MLNLJ..._ofnoCbB5S3VXN
$30 for an 18 pack is $1.67/each. That’s a terrible value.

I sometimes get them at Westerly’s in NYC and Westerly’s sells a $30 Groupon cert for $15.

Luckily for me (but not for my waistline) we have individually wrapped singles in the snack shelves at work
