Is it true that among *all* of the window seats (both the A and D sides), the odd numbered ones have the actual seat next to the aisle with the table near the window? And the even rows have the table next to the aisle? The seat maps don't show this. (I also notice that the seat map on the app only shows one lavatory (behind 8C) for all of D1, PS and presumably C+, with other lavatories in the middle of back of coach. Surely this is incorrect!)

Was pleasantly surprised when my SFO-ATL plane was 767-400 instead of the 300. Sat in 1C. The footwell was more than adequate. Beats the heck out of anything on 300. Wish Delta would upgrade the tired old 300 seats into the ones in 400.

Around certain special event dates (major shows/conferences at Las Vegas, for example) you find some added sections and bigger/better aircraft being deployed.

Was very lucky to end up in a Delta One Suite from DTW-CDG this week due to last minute flight change when the first segment of DTW-JFK-MAN was not going to make it to JFK on time. I was supposed to be in Upper Class on VS JFK-MAN, ended up DTW-CDG-MAN.
I don't fly outside of NA much so was my first time experiencing either product. Delta One Suite obviously far superior to those who have flown both.
My question is... if you shop for a Delta One flight... why is it showing me flights that are only VS Upper Class under a column heading of Delta One? It is not even close to the same.

Noticing this thread... I flew D1 for the first time on a 764 and I have to say I was quite disappointed by the seat. I haven't been on one of the old DL seats that seem much hated, so quite possible they are worse, but I noted that the new 764 seat was quite cramped, especially the gap to the aisle from an inset seat. My other big complaint was that there was no adjustable armrest, so that it was difficult to find a comfortable arm resting location in mostly-reclined mode and no way to widen the bed in life-flat mode. In terms of seat feel, it reminded me most of LX where I had a similar feeling of a deep and narrow footwell, with a tiny crevice to navigate through to get in and out (at least the D1 setup is all-aisle so you're not doing this over a neighbor).
I know I'm in the minority about not minding seatmates, but the outbound was on a KL 772 and the trust B/E Diamond seat was in my opinion preferable.
Perhaps the most fair comparison though was to the United Polaris seat which IMO beats this by a mile and a half (and I'd have to squint at a LOPA diagram but I swear is at least as dense if not more).

Its nice to see all 21 764 frames out of storage and ready to use, (well.... one will be returning from CAN very soon and the last of the 21 will be going to CAN soon for the PS conversion) and will most likely be in service in late summer 2022....just in time to replace one of the 19 others when their mx's will be happening.

I can only wish that some of the FTers will agree with you and be pleased to book away from these planes for summer travel to Europe. I always prefer ANY available lie flat, any variety at all, when heading east at any decent price or mileage than I can find. Too many of my "premium" flights across the Atlantic were spent in recliners, slings, inclined, "near lie flat," "170 degrees" or whatever -- so I still marvel at any... truly... flat... seat of any variation!
