Delta announced that 764s will get the new wireless IFE system developed by Delta Flight Products.
Seat 4D is configured as a Crew Rest Seat and will be X'd out on seat maps for flights where it's use is required.
The footwells in Row 1 are larger. 1A and 1D are larger than 1B and 1C.
Existing Wi-Fi is GoGo 2Ku, and there is no Live TV.

A different seat count by cabin and absence of doors on D1 suites is noted in a Delta press release video by jrkmsp.

https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delt...ave-doors.html

DL also talked about routes for the new 764s: everything BOS/JFK-LHR (but not Gatwick) by end of 2019. https://news.delta.com/new-paths-acr...-york-jfk-2020

After 3 1/2 months at CAN and this being the prototype B764 for the new D1 cabin and complete new 4-class installation, N828MH had a test flight yesterday, so it should be heading back to the US soon:

Update to my post above....according to another site, "the mods were completed more than a month ago. It remains at CAN due to issues with the wireless IFE system. It is not expected back to the U.S. until 5/25."

Here is the correct seat count by cabin, as noted in the wiki:

Delta One, C34

Premium Select, W20

Comfort +, Y+28

Main Cabin, Y156

It's not right - the screenshots above are for the A330s.

That said, airliners have done it before. Thomas Cook torture tube.

I have a 767-400 flight booked in W+ JFK-MAD in September. What are the odds of getting a new plane by then?
If I already paid for a miles upgrade to W+ will they allow me to apply them towards a Premium Select upgrade?

There is zero chance you will get a new plane. You might get a new interior. But even that is very tiny odds (probably only 1 of 20 will be done by then)

seems unlikely that they'll be rolling out the suites on JFK-MAD anytime soon.

If you're seeing the old seatmap, plan on getting the old seats.

1804 is taking a test flight! Not sure if that means it's close to re-entering service or not--neither FlightAware nor FlightRadar is showing any more upcoming flights for the plane.

That looks like an A330-200 map. Does anyone know if on the refurbished 767-400 there will be a table on the right or the left of Seat 1A? Post #48 seems to show it on the left but SeatGuru shows it on the right.
