Same flight tomorrow morning is a little busier. Cleared into 1C at T-72 insterad of into 4A at T-120. F is currently (T-20 hours) sold out, 6 on the upgrade already.

JFK-TPA yesterday morning (DL2359). I SDC’ed from a later flight to this one, originally on a Main Cabin fare that got a C+ comp upgrade. While on the phone with the agent SDC’ing me, my FC upgrade cleared on the new flight.

The flight left with 3+ open FC seats.

This year so far, I'm 0/8 on PM window upgrades. 1/7 @ gate upgrades - and 6/7 where I was #1 for 0 seats, which is maddening. Got my first BF upgrade yesterday MSP-AUS when someone no-showed and felt as giddy as I did 20 years ago when I got my first upgrade to F as a GM. Ran 80-90% as PM and DM from ~2010-2106. How things have changed...

6/6 DL 1564 ATL-RDU MD-88 PM on a K Fare: #4 of 22. Bought the ticket two days out and only got C+ at the gate

Now 64.00% (16/25) on the year.

I used RUC for SFO-JFK and arrived at airport with 15 of 16 checked in D1.
I was 1 of 29 on upgrade list (as PM using my RUC)

It cleared at minus 15 minutes.

I've only used my RUCs for the transcon routes and have been successful 3 of 4 times. 2 clearing at the gate and 1 two days before.

Got a rare upgrade at 3 day window for PM for EWR-ATL on a Sunday. There are lots of ppl with higher status or just plain bought F seats. I rarely get upgraded this early if at all. It is an evening flight so i'll probably SDC/SDS to an earlier flight. The weird thing is after the 5 day window F seats went from 9 to 2. Then I got upraded and now there's only 1 remaining. This doesn't seem like Delta mo.

EWR-ATL is an easy UG IME.

Probably a lot of DMs and PMs on higher fare classes, hence the system giving away 7 UGs at the window

Now 13/24 as PM for the year counting RUC for 2 segment upgrade. I just logged onto Delta voucher page showing I still had two RUC’s to my surprise. I had used two for earlier in year for companion and myself and attempted to use the other two. One from SNA-ATL-DCA where I was immediately cleared on ATL-DCA leg but no gate upgrade (was #1 of 26) on the heavy Diamond and people paying for FC on the SNA-ATL leg. Assumed RUC was burned as used for ATL-DCA but I guess not. Same with return as I used RUC for BWI-MSP-SNA. BWI-MSP had immediately cleared upon calling Delta to use RUC, and MSP-SNA was waitlisted but I’m still showing online I have 2 RUC’s remaining. I’m assuming if I call Delta they may say I have none left, but has anyone seen this as it was always my understanding and confirmed by Delta if any segment immediately clears using RUC before 5 day window the RUC has been used.

RDU - LGA, CR9 F at PM window
LGA - RDU, CR9 F at PM window

Both corporate T fares -- had been offering F upgrade for $44 all the way up to the PM window

I was a Silver for many years, now just buy fares I want. People like me are probably why the upgrades are so few and far between, that and Delta and NorthWest have reduced capacity of FC seats, especially when comparing those NW 757s....

ORD-RDU, Monday evening, cleared at window. At T-4, 7/9 seats still open, and 16 available in C+.

I'm not sure how long this route will last.

FWIW Delta has pulled very few routes from RDU since it started its focus city thing. In the last decade the only ones I can remember they tried and axed are MIA, STL, MEM (along with almost every route from MEM) and for a while, SLC which is now back. So we'll see.

It ended up 1F, 2C+, and 90% full in Y. So of course that caused a massive weight and balance issue so they filled F and spread the rest out evenly so nobody needed to have a neighbor.
