Currently PM. Travel this year was lighter than previous years. Ended up with a business Amex to earn MQMs to push me to GM next year.
41.4K MQMs waiting for 15K to post after my statement closed today.
Will have about 7.4K MQMs rolling over and will be close to silver after a trip to Europe in Jan.

Will be PM again in 2019 with about 12,700 rollover going into 2019, on 29 segments.
No expense acct travel. Did zero domestic FCM in 2018 after a number of them in 2017. Delta seems to be finding customers with higher price points than me, so my only 150% mqm trip this year was a DL/AF trip to Europe in P.E. All the rest was Y butt-in-seat + some AMEX mqms (edit: my complimentary upgrade % was okay this year).
Of course, the point of all that is - I went to some wonderful destinations, ate well, learned things, saw friends and family, and had ~27 days on mountain in Colorado. The DL benefits and the FT talking are fun but definitely secondary to the getting to be places part.

I was kind of in the same boat. I was in driving distance of a handful of sites this fall otherwise I would have had some carry-over. Probably won’t make DM next year. My last trip is to DEN this weekend.

Virtually no rollover. 130K MQMs from card spend, (3 x 10, 2 x 15, 2 x 10, 2 x 15 + one new card at 10K and one new card at 10K*)
I'm good at booking well, too. And did a PWM once or twice.
* Did one offer a 15K signup?

The mileage reimbursement dropped significantly at my company, so I have no shame in forcing their hand in paying for plane tickets, as per policy.
However, after 3-4 months of weekly flying, airport nonsense, and rental car rigmarole, I enjoy getting the excuse to drive just about anywhere. Had I'd clinched 140 segments the week before, I'd definitely driven instead.

Started 2018 with 42,455 MQM rollover, so legit DM with over 125k MQM BIS. Still have 2 500 mile segments on 12/31/18 and $445 MQD. MQD is inflated with a KLM J $3,800 fare (YYZ-AMS-CPT) posting as $7,784. 5 international vacation trips per year with reminder business domestic flights. Had a very high upgrade percentage, considering I didn't realize $25K AmEx spend is a medallion upgrade tie breaker.
