Hi all, so today we went to see Titanic Exhibition. Which is very interested things about this. We learn something. Those 700 passengers who died. We feels the ice. Unfortunately, no camera and no video allowed into the entire building. Only outside the building.

If you want someone to drive it back for you, I volunteer to do that!
Hah. I'm probably just going to use a broker to save adding 3k miles to the car before I get it. But if I need a backup, can you spare 3 days next week?

I'm a bit shocked that you're not more concerned about transferring the title and having some protection if something goes wrong after your check clears. Be careful out there, including when/where you're meeting the seller(s).
MSP, it's not just the dog, after buying my most recent car, I realized my convertible, while nice, is sorta a blah driving experience. Having a 'verte with a more powerful engine plus a back seat will up the fun quotient, as well as making it an all 'round more usable car. Plus, this allows me to take my dog with me( in the summer) without sacrificing my driving fun (aka verte).

Long distance car shipping is more common than one might think. Once title passes, you get insurance, and your carrier usually has a million in so in both personal and goods liability (DOT mandated) so you and the car are covered. But it's important to choose a good carrier so that the car doesn't get dinged or scraped up in transit.

Neat -- I visited a Titanic artifact exhibition when it was in San Francisco years ago. I remember when we entered they gave us each a commemorative boarding pass with a name on it and at the end we got to look up whether "we" survived or not.

We bought a car for Mr. Kipper a few years ago because the dogs needed more space.

I called him and asked before I booked it. Does that count?

Very nice! Do you have family there? I seem to remember you going to PRG recently.

I should have followed this before one particular meeting yesterday. At least half the room was asleep though, so I was in good company. Fortunately, the person leading the meeting was on the phone from another state.

Wow...just wow...

Flying to DCA tonight for my college roommate's wedding tomorrow. He and his fiancee will be the third couple (that I know of) from our first year dorm to get married. My wife and I were the first.
