I am pretty sure I discarded two of those a month or so ago when clearing out a bunch of stuff that we had stashed in the upstairs storage area in Jul 2001 before our move to DC

I have a set of the DL plastic wings on my cubicle wall at work (along with my other name tags and a DL 747 safety card )

Fairly impressive thunderstorm rolling through Towson right about now (looks like a big front is headed kipper's way too)

Apologies for dragon the thread away from wing-related wordplay

Hah.
It was very casual with lots of Chianti flowing. One needn't cook at all if you don't want to and the meal was amazing. The ragu (learned they this region of Italy doesn't mix garlic with beef) was so simple yet so falvorful..
Lots of olive oil seems to be the theme in Tuscan cooking.

Also there was a pork loin with rosemary/sagve potatoes (potatoes, tomatoes and herbs were all grown on site):

I went to Italy last fall as part of a round-the-world trip and one of my favorite parts was going to the wineries and small towns outside of Florence. So relaxing and enjoyable and I‘m now hooked on Chanti Classico wine (and I always look for the Black Rooster on the wine bottle!).

You’ve beaked my interest. Despite your apeckalyptic prediction I eggspect poultry in motion. You wing some, you lose some, but the winger takes all. Better luck nest time.

“If enough is good, more is not necessarily better!” - Mrs. Page, my 9th-grade geometry teacher

that said, you gave me a finch, so I’ll take a merl ... I’m in no thrush to duck the issue or sparrow you

you just introduced poetry into the conversation, but as soon as you start singing a bad wrendition of Verdi I wouldn’t swander the chance to call you the bantam of the opera
