we only waited ~40 min — less than many an airline delay we’ve experienced — and the porter brought the luggage cart into the elevator with us

I used a Suite Upgrade Certificate for each night ... they have refunded one (w zero action on my part), so I’m more than satisfied with the outcome

I'm glad that Delta didn't remove the large cushion seats in FC from the 738s. So much better than the 739 slim lines.

SO true ... but there aren’t a lot of eastbound 738s out of SEA that benefit my DC-area trekking

I have three weeks before my next flight on ANY airline

Plenty of 737-800s trekking east on Alaska out of SEA.

... with a 12F configuration and generally (no, make that “exceptionally”) non-competitive pricing for discount F, especially 7-10 days out, on SEA-DCA; while they’re adding a second SEA-IAD trip for the summer, both are scheduled as 320s, and most of their other TCONs that I might consider (BWI, PHL, BOS, JFK, EWR) use 16F 739s

  • Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch Imperial Stout — 10%ABV, 46 IBU

Nice! I love how regional brewers are making a comeback. Surprised you are still standing after that Hand Grenade. That's a serious beer. Kipper would like that, methinks.

Enjoy your Sunday, everyone! (Pumpkin has already spent 90 minutes at the dog park and is conked out on the floor)
