Do they have the CLEAR finger print readers? I'm curious whether they're working in this situation.

Those didn't work either. Same at DCA.

No PDB on our LAX-OGG flight today. First time I've ever seen this in thousands of flights. Is this a DL "enhancement" or did we just have some lazy FA's??

Normally not, and IME even if the flight is delayed, there's still the small bottle of water at every FC seat.

Was your flight delayed? Were there at least water bottles at the seats?

Flight was on time. There was a water bottle at each seat but I was hoping for something a tad bit stronger.

Well it wouldn't be the same without drinking. Thanks for the great view and conversation. Hope you had good luck tonight.

Up until a few minutes ago the answer would have been "no" but I just hit two jackpots in close succession so now I'm up for the trip ^

congrats

our 24-year-old gas furnace died overnight Friday; the technician told us that the HVAC parts supplier is closed for the weekend, but the $783 metering valve is a special-order item anyway ... I’m on the Sun SEA-JFK-DCA redeye; Mrs767 and the pets were not looking forward to being without heat in the house until probably Thursday, so our “jackpot” is that we’re having a new $6000 unit delivered and installed on Tuesday

I hope not. One of the perks of being in F on routes to Hawaii is supposed to the Mai Tais served as PDBs in F (hardly great compared to the Mai Tais you get once in Hawaii but a nice treat to get excited on the way to Hawaii).
