I encourage people to just jump in. It's how I got started in the Lounge 3+ years ago, and some of the OMNI threads etc. We don't bite! Except maybe Howste if he hasn't been fed recently.
Hey! I haven't bitten anyone for at least a week.

It's time for my annual annoyance that the Florida panhandle is in Central time zone instead of Eastern. I live at the same latitude as Morocco; there should not be a time of the year when it's getting dark at 4:45pm.

For those of you with Priority Pass and Skyclub Access (Membership or Amex). Are you also taking advantage of the new PP restaurant locations where there is also a SkyClub, or just choosing one or the other?

How many of those are there? The only location I can think of with overlap is LAX. Last time I was there we had a short connection and had to change terminals by bus so just stopped in the (really underwhelming) SkyClub.

Actually, looks like there are a few more locations with both. I didn’t realize DEN had a SC (was it there in 2014, last time I traveled there on DL?). I also see BOS, SFO, TPA, MIA, and DCA.
I’ll have to try one of the restaurants next time I travel through one of those, especially if I’m somewhere like DCA where the food options are minimal. My wife has tried Timberline Grill at DEN while flying UA for work and was happy with the experience. I think she got some wings and a glass of wine which were completely covered by the card (excluding gratuity).

IIRC the PGA PP lounge at MSP gives food vouchers, but there's a very good Centurion lounge near it, so I've never tried the PGA place. It looks like a combination sports bar and sports memorabilia store, but I think you can also practice your golf there.

PDX also? I think I remember hearing that there is a whisky bar there offering $28 flights so they know what's up

Note that the SFO PP-affiliated restaurants are in T3 vs. the Delta operations in T1 and are not connected airside.

As mentioned upthread, I hit all 3 of Timberline, SC, and United Club on a long layover in DEN last Friday. Timberline looked to have a decent beer selection. I thought two Odell's IPAs plus some nachos (which were decent) should be exactly $28 but either I miscalculated or they still charge tax (makes sense, although I'm used to casino comps where tax comes off ) as I had to pay $2.xx + tip.

As a general answer to SDQBound's question, for me it would depend on how hungry I am, how bored I am with the Sky Club offerings, and maybe other factors like gate proximity. e.g. my DEN escapades required visiting all 3 concourses...

We were in PRG last weekend and DST went into effect on Saturday night. Sunday night it was so weird to walk around at 5 PM and it was dark already.

Actually, the current time change is off of DST and back to standard time. Here in England, like it Prague, it happened last weekend. It has definitely made my long-distance walk more challenging.

Eh, whatever it is. I just know that I dislike it!

You may hate it, but it happens to be my mom's favorite day of the year.

DCA has both the Bracket Room with PP and the SkyClub. I tried the food at the Bracket Room and it was acceptable, they also have a wide variety of beer. The food at the SkyClub is better than other SkyClubs after the renovation, but drinks are limited. So I am doing a combination of a few beers at the Bracket Room and then food at the SC.

I was not expecting it and suddenly my Parisian afternoon turned into a very early evening. Most years I have been paying attention but this year I completely forgot about it and caught me as a surprise.
