very nice! I need to start looking into getting to CPT for the INCOSE Int’l Symposium in mid July next year (although JNB will certainly work in one or both directions) ... AS miles on CX — with, of course, a stopover in HKG — is very tempting

There are plenty of BA and SAA plus smaller carrier flights between CPT and JNB daily. CX and QR both fly to CPT, but award availability is limited. AS miles on CX is my backup plan if I can’t get QR on the return, but I really want to use AA miles for QSuites before QR leaves OW (rumored to be in the works).

Some JNB/CPT possibilities out of YVR too (I'm considering a MQM/MQD run later this year...)

Morning!

Today was a morning where I left the house before having enough coffee. I drive a diesel, so each morning, I get in the car, insert the key into the ignition, turn it to the start position, let it sit until the glow plug light goes out, and then start it. I did this today, except I was distracted by something in the process, and forgot to start the car. When I looked at the dash, I saw the check engine light illuminated and panicked. I then realized I failed to start the car. Oops...

LOL, hope it was great! I considered having a PDB tonight and decided I didn't feel like it because tomorrow is a long day for me.

Also I'm covered in cats. I think they missed me this weekend while I took my dad to see The Who Saturday night.

Was there an opening act, or was the Who on first?
