LOL, no, the Samoa was likely medium well. They aren't that rare, as I have another 6 boxes.

I was on DL2950 JFK-SEA, left the terminal at 6:15pm, finally airborne around 8pm. We used 4L as a parking lot to queue, at one point 24 aircraft in line for departure.
I heard it was much worse for inbound aircraft as they had them just wait at the departure point until after the afternoon rush of departing planes (sounds like it was hours of waiting). Definitely would cause a lot of IRROPS, but glad that worked out to your benefit!
Mon morning wasn't much better ... as we were on short final for 4R ~0650, I saw a JetBlue flight departing from 31L, but by the time we had taxied back to make the turn to the low B gates there was a parade of at least a dozen to the departure end of 4L

the seat map for my JFK-IAD was ~50% open, which may have contributed to why they stole that jet to make up the PIT flight ... the rest of my story is in the "SkyClub agents are powerless" thread

We had a somewhat bumpy final descent and landing onto 22L. Pushed back more or less on time for JFK-BWI ^

I knew the Penguins weren't going far, but never saw Columbus sweeping Tampa Bay.

Family together in BE?

Does DL make any effort to keep mom and kids together in BE. We are taking short flight JFK/DCA, just trying to keep cost down. Any way, will they be all over the cabin or will DL seat them toigether? TIA.

How many kids and how old are they? Also, is father or other adult traveling too?
