Timeframe for AF to recognize Delta GM?
I achieved GM about 2 weeks ago while on my monthly TATL work schedule and am returning early Nov on AF via CDG. I checked my reservation on AF, and it indicates "Elite" instead of "Elite Plus". Call to AF resulted in the response that it takes about a month for AF to recognize the change in status. Does that seem correct, or should I call back and push the point? I'd really like to take advantage of the CDG AF lounge that my Delta GM status should provide for me.
Alternatively, would showing my Delta GM status gain me entry into CDG AF lounge even though my AF record shows only Elite? TIA! |
Try the delete and re-enter trick with you FF number on the reservation to refresh the info

What about using the app to show a digital membership card for the lounge and priority boarding?

App should work for lounge. For check-in, make sure you show your digital card and agents are able to manually add SkyPriority to your BP.

i think there is a regular update cycle so it may depend on when you cross status levels
i was checking daily by making dummy bookings on AF |
It's a matter of when DL finally updates the system OAL use to verify status. Till that happens OAL won't see it. Once it happens the OAL normally needs to reverify your status. Either by removing and adding FF number or during OLCI when most airlines poll again to verify current status.
