ATL on 9/21 4pm to 9pm

It's been years since I have had a pitstop in ATL

what is there to do or should I just pay for a day pass to the sky club?

Or if anyone is passing through at those hours and want to hang out with a FO let me know.

If you have any of the numerious cards that include priority pass you can use the PP lounge in Terminal F or take a nap in the minute suites. Otherwise yeah pony up the $29 for the skyclub access if you have a co-branded amex card ($59 without).

If you are paying or SC, go to F concourse. Much nicer with outside deck.
outside, you can go to he Porsche building and have dinner and see some race cars. You need reservation to get in.
I would say the Delta museum, but it closes at 4:30pm

Well, my job just changed my flights I'll only be an hour in ATL now.

Would have liked a Delta Museum visit.

Hop on the MARTA train at the baggage claim and go see Georgia Aquarium it is actually and truly fantastic,,,

i would one one up the Porsche visit and actually schedule the last ride of the day for the “Porsche Experience” it is a Really fun experience...I would skip dinner at 356 at the Porsche museum and instead go next door to Solis hotel which has almost as must Porsche ambiance but with a world class roof top bar (and you don’t need to make a reservation) Solis was a Porsche designed project and it really shows...

if if you happen to play the banjo you could walk the tunnel between concourse A & B in the synthetic Okeefenokee Swamp and if your case is open probably make some money also!,

The shoeshine station at the South check in will likely be abandoned and with a basic shoeshine kit you could open shop for a couple hours!!

If you are feeling like a fat cat I would recommend dinner at the International terminal at One Flew South...

If you can’t tell I’m based out of Atlanta....
Take a one hour shower at the Delta Skyclub at concourse E...if you play the soundtrack to Les Mis while you do this, you will likely have an audience when you exit!

There is exactly one escalator at the airport that still doesn’t have the Knobby things what would prevent you from sliding down the stainless steel coping...(location is secret!)

+1 to the Georgia Aquarium. If you're sitting here thinking "come on, inland city in the south? really?', challenge your preconceptions... it is truly world class; one of the largest three aquariums in the world by volume, and incredibly well presented. I was predisposed to like it because I would have answered "marine biologist" to anyone who asked me my future career as a teenager, but I think it would win over even the most jaded museum-goer. If anything, my only criticism of this advice is that you'll want more than just an hour or two to see it!

Don't forget a pilgrimage to at least the Chick-Fil-A outlet in the airport, although it's better to leave the airport and go to the dwarf house with table service, which I believe was their original location. [I'm not from ATL but we did this at one of the smaller ATL miniDOs, IIRC the one that included lounge hopping and a trip to the ATC place outside of the city.]

With your revised schedule, an hour should be just enough time to get takeout from Chick-Fil-A in ATL terminal for your next flight.
