Not utilization flying at all. The first frame will fly back and forth between LGA and BOS eight times a day. Delta is going to push the wider Y seats and 2Ku on board as attractive to business travelers. Including the Shuttle route.

It must be mainline. It is too heavy, with too many seats, to be flown by a Delta Connection carrier. The CR9 and E75 are at the upper limit.

The A220s are supposed to replace the express carrier E175s so that they could be reallocated to routes that are currently operated by CRJ-200s. Delta wants to get rid of the CRJ-200s.

I think the only downside when compared to the CR9 is that there are fewer C+ seats on the 221 (15, and 3 are middles). I am a fan of the 717 so I am looking forward to trying this out when I have to go to Houston in February.

The strange thing is that the seat map shows two exit rows. How does that work? There's only one row with an exit window, and the window should be centered between seats.

E175 for CR2? Would think that if A220's cover 175 routes with the goal of eliminating CR2's (being CHO based: please be true), then 175s would replace CR9s, CR9s would replace CR7s and CR7's would replace CR2s?

i saw CHO lost the CR7 to LGA and it’s now CR2....bummer! A 2nd (almost daily) flight to LGA is starting in Jan I believe

We still have the mainline flight 1x/day which is being upgraded to an A319 for the last 6-7 weeks of the year it seems. As of January, it seems we get 1x 717, 2x CR9's, and 2x CR2's which is a massive improvement over the current 1x 717/319 and 4x CR2. I was spending 2.5hrs on Thursday afternoons in ATL just to connect to the mainline. Not only do I get upgraded almost every time on that flight, but even just having [real] C+ and room to stand makes it night/day.

Generally. Delta has given investor presentations that point to a CR2 count of only ~fifty in 2023.

Looks like the first delivery flight is entered as DAL 9932, YMX-ATL, 10/26/18, at 2pm, arrival into ATL at 4:56pm.

Wow that's awesome......the AA upgrade lists to CLT are pretty long for a smaller market like CHO and I don't usually clear because of paid premium demand so it's great to see DL doing this.

I think it was reported when they released the seat maps for the first sale of tickets.

My biggest negative take from the plane was smaller overhead bins on the 2 side, compared to the 3 side.

The first four rows (3F & Y bulkhead) had air bag seat belts.

The lavs were a tremendous improvement. Nice height, and faucets you could actually put a human hand under. Left aft lav has a window.

Didn't like the placement of PED 110v power in F, they’re stacked in front of the seat causing a trip hazard for window seat pax trying to exfil.

110v PED in Y is a single outlet on 2 side and dual outlets on 3 side leaving someone empty. Saving grace is the IFE monitors have USB plugs.

Air gaspers on the 3-side are flush against the frame, so the aisle pax has such a long stretch for air.

Otherwise a very clean and comfortable aircraft.
