I was going to say that they probably meant LGA-IAH but you're right - the article mentions both.

Delta really doesn't like United apparently

Do notice the "new" 1st class seats are a clone of Delta Premium Select seats: https://news.delta.com/photos-delta-...stic-travelers
That entertainment box in row 1 looks annoying for the people in row 2.

But I'm anxious to try this out, and will probably try to buy up to F in one direction when I go to Houston in February. I'm a fan of the VS PE seats, but LHR is a hassle so if I find these seats acceptable for a long flight that will add DTW-AMS to my flight options (albeit at many fewer MQD).

Damn safety equipment getting in the way of passenger comfort!

What *was* DL thinking?!

Oh well, at least I'll still have a wing view window.

I initially thought the same, but a close examination of this photo (download it and zoom in to count the seatbacks/armrests) shows that both of the "desirable" rows are 14 rows ahead of the rear bulkhead, which due to the configuration means 15AB and 16CDE. 15CD is the two seat pair adjacent to the starboard window exit. I think it's probably just an error. There is definitely a way to code only part of a row as an exit row - look at the MD88/90 rear exit row by the 2L door (32/33 ABC on the 88, 36AB on the 90), only the AB(C) side is coded as an exit row.

It probably is an error. 16ABC-E are coded as exit seats, but 16D is not.

I’m thinking about taking the first inaugural on Jan 31 from LGA-DFW. Do y’all think there’ll be any fanfare even though the LGA-BOS is the technically the first Delta A220 commercial flight?

Nice to see all the airports, including ATL, DAB, DFW, HSV, IAH, JAN, and MOB, that N101DU has been doing crew training and proving flights to this month!

Is there a list anywhere of what routes will have the A220? If not, perhaps we should start one in the Wiki. I fly a number of routes out of DTW that have the CRJ900 or the 717, but so far none are showing a 220. Love the 717, can't wait to try the 220!

New York-LGA to Boston
January
New York-LGA to Dallas/Ft. Worth*
January
are the first delta routes with the A220 but if you want one now you would need to go to Europe and fly Swiss or Air Baltic. i do wish there was a website that allowed you to look up all routes operated by a aircraft type but it changing so often

The list as posted in the Delta news blurb was copied into the thread earlier; I've added it to the wiki.

I love this plane, flew it on LX last year. So silent and powerful for its size. Fantastic work from Bombardier, almost bankrupted them.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but the A220 shows up on a couple SEA-SJC turns starting next summer. Not sure where the plane is coming from. Looking forward to flying this on DL!

DL appears to have fixed the A220 seatmaps online (though it still refers to it as the CS100 )

15AB are preferred exits on the port side, and 16CDE on the starboard side with 15CD being designated as regular Main Cabin (presumably 15CD will still get the exit row safety spiel with 16CDE)

it does say CS100 under the nose too and probably will remain all over many of the parts
