Delta One Redemptions
 
We will be looking for two return redemptions ATL to Rome next September. Is there likely to be a sale for reduced miles? Does Delta open up more reward seats nearer the time?

Still lots of demand to go to FCO in September. Very unlikely there will be any type of sale. Delta does not release inventory in the lower levels close-in. In fact, most of them have advance purchase requirements. The lowest level level CSV860 awards (86K) have a 90-day advance purchase requirement and the next level (105K) have a 60-day advance requirement. Partner 75K awards do not have advance purchase requirement, but are very difficult to find any availability.
