DL Announces New ORH-DTW Flights

No times or other details. ORH (Worcester) is New England's second largest city, not PVD or MHT or BDL. It has had scattered and haphazard airline service through the years. B6 just started up a flight to JFK and AA has plans to fly to PHL. The airport has a 7000 foot runway and newly installed CAT II ILS capability.

B6 has been flying there for years from Florida. Their new flight to JFK is an expansion.

True but meaningless: airports attract passengers from well beyond the city limits. The Hartford MSA is ~30% larger than Worcester's.

Well that is surprising. Curious as to when it will start and times.

Historically ORH has been problematic due to weather (in particular low ceilings/fog) and lack of ILS that limited landings.

That and Bradley is between Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA. That's why it's New England's second busiest airport.
