No more almonds?

Not to sound petty, but I personally enjoyed the almonds and this week it seems they’ve switched to peanuts???
Did I miss the memo?

Maybe WN offloaded the rest of their stock to DL?

I welcome the switch to roasted, lightly salted peanuts. Peanuts are the blue collar "Nut of the People."

Almonds are the nut of choice for the DYKWIA crowd. Snobbish elitists.

Love the almonds and save them for lunches on the road.

Yep, believe they're gone. An FA informed me (and others around) a couple of weeks back that almonds were on the way out. This was in response to a passenger asking for a second bag of almonds because they enjoyed them so much. The response began as "Enjoy them while you can!"

Wonder how much the cost difference is between the almonds and peanuts.

Seemed like the almonds started plump and juicy when they started serving them, but were at the end dry and shriveled. I wonder if there were supply problems?

What have they replaced them with?

Edit, never mind, I see they are peanuts now.

How long until we get a peanut allergy thread? I liked the almonds but I’m sure they switched to peanuts for cost. It’s the same reason I buy peanuts at home instead of pistachios and cashews.

I thought they removed peanuts from all flights for allergy issues? I haven't had oasis of a DL flight in years; just snack pack or biscoff.

I wish DL would remove the snack mix and bring bag the Snyder’s Pretzels. Not a big peanut fan, but I love anything pretzel related and I was disappointed when pretzels were removed from the snack lineup (don’t even see them in FC anymore)

I know someone who once complained abou Delta providing peanuts on flights (her son had a peanut allergy), and Delta’s response was they were “Supporting the peanut farmers in Georgia”. The person’s response was “why nut servie corn and support the farmers in Minnesota”

What happened to the This Bar Saves Lives energy bar? They went back to Kind, which is Ok, but I liked the TBSL bar. Taking 2 bars I felt like I was saving 2 lives, now I just feel like a greedy pig....
