Delta sent me socks?
 
Did a search and didn’t find anything on this topic.
Got a UPS 2nd day air package this morning from Delta that has a pair of socks. Packaging says “Congrats on becoming a new Medallion Member. We want to make sure you start off on the right foot...or feet”.
I’ve been a medallion member since the NWA merger and have held various elite levels over the years from Diamond to nada, currently Gold. Not sure why Delta thinks I’m new. Random gifts are nice I suppose...and now I have purple & grey Delta socks. Anyone else?

Maybe an FA saw you seated with your shoes off and no socks on, and this is their way of asking you to cover them up?

Delta placed body odor sensors in every seat during the weekend. After every flight, the system will ship deodorant, underwear, or socks accordingly.

Here's a visual so you don't have to imagine what they might look like. Bottom of the socks say "Got Status?"

You should hang those from your bags instead of the DM, PM, etc luggage tags. Those would really show off to people that you are the ultimate elite member on board. :)

That’s absolutely brilliant advice, and precisely what I would do. It beats even the Unobtanium tag.
