How is this possible ???
DL is showing my incoming flight that I just paid 75.00 to standby on as arriving in 42 mins while it is still over ATL ??? Flightaware show it arriving at 442 so my flight would not take off until 520 or so my original flight takes off at 5:37 that I used miles to upgrade on to FC. Is this normal for DL ? I normally fly AA and used to some crazy things but not the website telling me a plane is going to to be at the gate in 44 mins when it is over 600 miles away. I guess I should cancel my SDFC and get my $75 back ???

What is SDFC? Do you mean SDS or SDC?
If you're doing SDS, you won't be charged until if/when you get onto the new flight, so it should be easy to cancel the request if you haven't cleared yet. Sometimes flightaware is better than delta.dumb or the app to check flight status. |
Ya SDC - I cancelled the request not worth $75 to get in 10 mins earlier max, also I would lose my FC seat.

DL2518 will arrive just before 4pm, about 55mins late

How do you cancel a SDC request? When you ask to SDC the answer is yes or no. If it's yes, your previous reservation, including any upgrades, should be automatically cancelled. There's no wait list for SDC; that's what SDS is.
