Delta counter at CPH?

I am flying CPH to JFK in D1 in June, I usually fly AF or KL to CDG or AMS, so this will be my first time on this particular route which I gather is seasonal.

I know the DL plane leaves out of the C Pier in terminal 3, Where is the check-in desk usually located? Is it just one of the looong line of check-in desks in the old terminal 1/2?

thanks

I was there last year and it was definitely in terminal 2, not terminal 3. We arrived from the train station in CPH and Delta's check-in counter was basically in front of the first door going inside the terminal. There is a long run of check-in desks but it was really easy to find.

Thanks, figured as much but wanted to confirm.

Ticketed in Delta One, DM and Amex Plat with Priority Pass; anyone have advice on which lounge to head for?

It's exactly there, one of those in that long line in Terminal 2. it's NOT the usual AF/KL desk, they set up one seperately for DL.
PP will get you in the "Aviator" Lounge, no idea which one will DL offer to it's D1 guests. There is a second lounge besides the Avaitor lounge which looks nice from the outside, but have never been in there.

Thanks.

PP site shows the Aviator, Aspire and Eventyr lounges in T2 and the Primeclass Lounge in T3, the latter is relatively new I believe, and I imagine beyond the non-schengen passport control, which is probably fine for me.

Delta lounge location finder lists Novia Denmark for D1 pax. No Skyteam partner lounges at CPH.

I flew Air France into CPH last year and I think they're in Terminal 3, but yeah, there's no skyteam lounge. AF uses a contract lounge which was quite nice.

If memory serves, the only true airline lounge is the SAS lounge, all the rest are contract lounges. I did read about the relatively new Primeclass Lounge, which is managed by the same outfit that does the Turkish Airlines Club at IAD, which isn't too bad when its not crowded.
I come to CPH about twice a year, but usually through CDG or AMS; this will be my first time flying direct to the US and thus crossing over from schengen to non-schengen at CPH. I should have time on the return leg to check out the lounge and will report back with the odd photo or two if I can.

I came in and out of CPH this week largely as planned, here's what I found in response to my own questions.

As referenced by other FT members, the check-in gate for Delta was in terminal 2, in this case counters 142 to 147 (I imagine many of these counters are not permanently assigned, so YMMV). I got to the airport about 4 hrs early and had to wait for the designated check-in counters to show up on the monitors.

Passport Control was mobbed! here's a hint; go for the right-most line; the booth location is less deep than the others so the line is shorter, but that's hard to tell when you are at the back of a long line, so all the queue lengths look the same--but trust me, that one is much shorter!

There are 2 lounges, PrimeClass right above the passport control area and Eventyr--these are both located on the plane-side of passport control. Both are part of the priority club lounge system, but Delta uses the Eventyr lounge for Delta One travellers. Both have been reviewed elsewhere, however i'd say having read a lot of the reviews, I was still struck by how small the PrimecCass lounge was; all the photos make it seem much bigger than it is. The Eventr has great views of the gate areas.
