Delta just rolled out new home page interface
Just logged onto to Delta.com and the home page is entirely new - bathed in Delta dark blue and everything rearranged. Entirely new look - and mostly driven for the segmentation drive with all sorts of areas for service upgrades.
Of note, service disruptions are now a little more accessible with the "bell" icon along the top line. Secondary pages appear same. Once you log in, options available include 'Today' and 'Feed' for service disruptions. |
Huh, everything still looks the same as before for me. Perhaps they’re A/B testing a new design?
Someone in a Facebook group I'm a part of talked about this yesterday and provided a screenshot. It's apparently being rolled out slowly.
30 minutes later I log-in and it's the old front page.
I just got it as well. Looks amazing. It's much more sophisticated and darker. Flight search is at the top. I believe it is responsive as well.
Looks same to me right now.
Same for me, too. For the people who are seeing the new page, what browser are you using?
Just saw this thread and went to delta.com on a browser I never use (Safari) and up popped the new homepage:

Tried the same thing, but it loaded the old/current one. :( Looks nice from the pic though. :) |
Was just fiddling around with a bunch of stuff and I still have the old design on mine.
Screenshot of the new one looks nice. Hopefully all the functionality actually works properly. |

Old page for me too - that new design looks great though!
Anybody using Safari, and NOT getting the new home page?
I cannot see the new site yet. Using a Mac, both Safari and Chrome shows the old one.
Most likely they're using a rollout in phases based on increasing percentages. In other words, at first only 1% of users get the new page design, then 5%, then 15%, etc..
This is done so if anything is broken, it can be caught before it impacts business to all customers. This is done through the use of cookies. Technically, if you used a cookie editor and knew what to edit, you could force either the old or new design. Looks snazzy! |
