By the way I can’t wait until the first L-1011 arrives. All the way to Los Angeles, non-stop!

Redeemable mileage earning was announced four years ago. MQMs are still based on distance.

Maybe we can consolidate this into a 'Posters can't read Terms & Conditions' thread.

Or, you could give the guy the answer he's looking for without turning snarky?

I called Delta to get my soybeans sprayed as I just inherited my Uncle Billy-Johns farm over in Dothan, and darned if you know she said they stopped spraying crops a minute ago...
I had been noticing that their planes had windows for a while but I just figured they was branching out into the lucrative bovine transport busy-ness....we’ve been putting windows in our cattle trailers for years it has taken the airplane folks a long time catch up...I still get a kick whenever a passenger car passes me and my cattle they feels some compulsion to ”Mooo” while they drive by....I betcha those folks with the funny flashlights on the ground do the same thing .....my Mee-ma always “Junior, God made all kinds of fruits, doesn’t mean ya gotta eat em all”. Not really sure that has relevance to this conversation but just popped into my head.....I miss Mee-ma you would’ve liked to meet her...

Let’s get this topic back on track. I think we should ban together collectively to address our concerns to Delta. I would like to offer a name for consideration:

So I called my travel agent to book a flight on Pan Am, and you won't believe what he told me, ....!!!
(Sorry, just some good natured ribbing at the OP's expense, no offense intended )

I miss those propellers. It's good to be able to look out the window and see that the engine is still working. Otherwise these new fangled aeroplanes could just stop and fall out of the sky and one wouldn't know it in time to find the parachute and figure out how to put it on.
