Delta SDQ Baggage Embargos
 

Delta sent me an email stating there is a baggage embargo for my flight tomorrow, no more than 2 bags per passenger. The destination is SDQ, But it doesn't specify if that includes carry on or checked luggage. Called Delta and they said they'd call back in an hour but figured I'd ask here.

The link Delta provided doesn't have any info for SDQ.

This is checked bags. Not aware of any airline that would allow a 50lb carry on.

Unless you can't lift the carry on bag into the bin, how would they know what it weighs? The only time I saw carry on being weighed was on the jetway boarding a SQ flight, where a guy in business class was getting a hard time about an overstuffed roller bag. QF has a very low limit and they once commented to me near security on how they have this rule unlike in the USA, but my bag got onto the plane despite being over five kilos or whatever the limit was.

I've had carry ons weighed before, not in the US, but definitely in South America and Europe.
