Last week ATL-PBI and I am in 1C on an MD-88. I can hear the FA tell the captain "one wheelchair" and the captin replied "one wheelchair for PBI? There's a first for everything" and chuckled.

Reminds me of the time someone called a flight from MSP to JAX a “miracle” flight. There were 6 people in wheelchairs getting on the flight, but only one needed a wheelchair when leaving the flight. The other 5 were cured during the flight.

Appropriate Vocational Prep for a Delta FA job

Pax: How long have you worked for Delta?
FA: Three years, but I taught kindergarten before that.

I think they use miracle for a lot of FL flights. PBI-LGA is infamous for 10+ boarding via wheelchair and only a few getting them on arrival in LGA.

Last PBI-LGA flight I was on I counted 17 wheelchairs for boarding at PBI and only saw 4 upon landing in the jetway.
