I received my new diamond tags today - plastic with transparent Delta Logo.

Yes, you have to be Delta 360 to get the clanging brag tags now... biggest devaluation in years for some I think... :D

Too many Diamonds - will Gold and Platinum get no tags?

Oh man, the value of those metal tags on ebay just went up 300%

What will the cowbell crowd do?!? I mean if we can’t hear them coming we won’t be able to clear the way so they can make sure they are first on board by blocking the exit of the passengers getting off the plane :)

Now that I have applied Loc-Tite to the screwed-up/screw-together cable, I am hoping that my 2017 tags last forever. :D

I would not be surprised to hear that the metal tags were done away with to reduce the number of hand injuries baggage personnel were experiencing.

I believe the FOs will take care of that as they carry our luggage on the plane with a cowbell around their neck. Sorry about having to wear it but just consider it a Delta enhancement.

Even the loyalty of DM's isn't worth as much to Delta anymore.

Got mine today. Disappointed since I just got 1M and was hoping for a metal 1M upgrade tag.

Still can’t read my Sky miles number on the tag!
 

Metal or plastic doesn’t matter to me.
I still can’t read the white lettering of my Skymiles number against the light grey background. :(
