Delta could have made this year's diamond tags from the 747s. That would have been cool.

I don't think they'd have nearly enough material for all of the DMs. Maybe for the 360s though it would be pretty cool.

Also, if you noticed the new diamond cards are plastic with no strip on the back, so the kiosk does not read them! I sent delta an email but of course no response.

Yeah is disappointing that there is no magnetic strip on them. Its good to have as a backup for the kiosk or some lounge locations.

Damn, for like five years I've been looking for a KM in the wild and still can't seem to get lucky.

From what i understand it is for those people who spend boo-cou bucks on travel. Like in the hundreds of thousands. Hopefully there arent that many so it knocks out all the peasants who pay less for tickets!

360 Tag spotted in the wild

Always wondered a DM360 tag looked like, and was scrolling through Instagram today when I saw this-

Pretty cool, very simple though. Now I wonder if the 360 tags are still metal!

EDIT: Just saw someone posted pics of their 360 tag earlier this month in another thread. And it is metal apparently!

Maybe I should bring my Charter DM tags back out for rotation, although they are plastic too. I have some of the loud clanky metal ones I use on occasion, but normally use the more recent revision of the metal tags that aren't as loud and also don't seem to get bent. Those clanky ones get beat up.

Plastic doesn't convey premium. Just ask all the credit card companies, American Express included, that no longer issue their premium cards in plastic.

The cheap metal that last year's tags are made of doesn't convey "premium" either.

Mrs. P.'s PM cards came today. No attachment cables (metal or plastic). Another Delta enhancement!

Maybe Delta thought no one would put them on luggage/carry-on.

Why would they give any attachment methods for those who already have tags? I'm sure the old ratty cables from last year should work fine for another year or two?

My DM tags came with the cables. I remember you used to have to request them at the skyclub if you want them. Mine just go in a drawer anyway when I get them. Those tags they give at conventions where they laminate your business card for a luggage tag work a lot better.

If she really wants one PM me and I'll be happy to send one of mine out

No JWD certificates in my DM requal packet either. I guess there's some inscrutable criteria being applied for eligibility for these...
