Expedited security with first class ticket in Vancouver, CA?
We will be flying Delta out of Vancouver, Canada in May. We’re coming off a cruise, so we’re going to be in a rush to make our 11:20 a.m. flight back to the U.S. I noticed online that there is no Sky Priority security line at this airport, so does this mean that a first class ticket would offer no expedited security benefit whatsoever?

Correct. The only priority security in YVR at the US preclearance area is for NEXUS card holders - Global Entry/PreCheck passengers, and first/business/elite passengers, are not eligible.
Once you clear security, the US takes over and anyone with Global Entry (including NEXUS of course) is welcomed to the kiosks for the immigration phase.
Security tends to move reasonably fast but I’ve still seen the queue reach 20-30 minutes. Immigration tends to be faster but still could get busy at peak times. Without Global Entry I would allow an hour to complete all the formalities to be on the safe side.

GE passengers can use the Nexus security lane if you have your GE card or the CBP sticker in your passport. The line is signed for “Nexus/GE”, but they want to see some sort of evidence. I found this out on a recent trip that I had forgotten my Nexus card, and they went thru my passport looking for the CBP sticker, which I didn’t have, so I was sent to the regular line.
