I went two for four on DCA-MSP-SEA and return; got the two outbound upgrades at the 120 hour window; ended up #5 for 3 UG seats SEA-MSP, and #3 for a sold out F cabin MSP-DCA. I did have a good C+ experience MSP-DCA on the first flight of the morning on that route, which counterbalanced a horrible C+ experience on the redeye SEA-MSP (FA ran into me and woke me up; person in the row behind vomited; nastiest flight I've been on in some time).
The MSP-SEA involved a 777 and a D1 flat bed seat. I was able to sleep most of the way on this segment, and felt really good when I got to SEA around 1000 local time. Thank you, Delta.

PM, Atl based. Reserve card. Will make DM by mid-June.
Upgraded for the the first time in 2 years of being PM from Atl. it took a business trip to Grand Rapids for it to happen. Upgraded at 5 days for both legs.
Brings my overall upgrade to first class percentage to, literally, 4/147 = 2.7% in 2 years at PM level.

As a Silver (FO) here are my stats as a hub captive ATL flyer.
Comfort + - 10 of 23 flights (43.4%)
First - 1 of 23 flights (4.3%)
Not mad about my Comfort+ stats, was honestly expecting worse with ATL being my home.

Awesome! Congrats! Did you get pushback at any point from any agents for being on the UG list on an award?
This was one of my crucial questions...if award tickets were UG eligible on AM (did you fly AM or DL operated flights?)
Agreed on SLC-ATL being rare. However I've had advance UGs on it too on SLC-ATL twice now since Feb

No pushback. The agents were kinda surprised there was anyone on the upgrade list but one of them remembered that US-MX/Caribbean flights were recently reclassified as First Class and therefore eligible. And the award tickets were on the DL-operated flights from LAX-CUN-LAX.

50/60 so far this year. Probably have SDC'd out of a couple others in an effort to get home early.
Routes are almost always CLT-ATL-XXX--primarily short hops around the southeast.

The surprise thunderstorms in Houston ruined would would have been a really good upgrade week for me.
Before:
Sunday, May 20th
DL1873 IAH-SLC, T fare: cleared at T-90
DL1275 SLC-BOI, T fare: cleared at window
Monday May 21st
DL4471 BOI-SLC, X fare: cleared at window
DL2353 SLC-ATL, X fare: cleared at window
After a 15 hour delay on DL1873 forced me to rebook both trips:
Monday, May 21st:
DL6278 IAH-MSP, T fare: 3/20 for 0 seats
DL4828 MSP-BOI, T fare: 1/19 for 2 seats that were both cleared to passengers on the standby list (Shena? Maybe not, they didn't look like non-revs to me, not that I can really tell)
Tuesday, May 22nd:
DL4828 BOI-MSP, U fare: 3/13 for 0 seats
DL1623 MSP-ATL, U fare: 3/40 for 2 seats

DL 2772 LGA-FLL 5/21 - Upgraded from Y straight to F 3 days prior to departure as a GM, along with my non-status wife who was on my reservation. Day of departure there were still 6 open seats in F (A320) and just 3 on the UG list, but eventually it did check in full. First time I've ever been upgraded straight from Y to F 3 days prior to departure as a GM without stopping in C+ first. We were upgraded to C+ together for the FLL-LGA leg on 5/18 3 days prior to departure as well, and C+ was almost entirely empty for the flight.
I assume you higher level medallions are smart enough to not fly to LGA, thus a lowly GM like me can get upgraded, sadly we had no choice as we were meeting family there.
