Delta end the West Coast Shuttle?

Has delta ended the west coasts shuttles? Was looking for info on it and delta.com only lists the shuttle routes as BOS, LGA, DCA, ORD. Went to book LAX-SFO and it was listed as a delta connection flight instead of a delta shuttle flight.

SEA-SFO/LAX are still going ... can't imagine they would ever axe the route!

I think the question was whether DL dropped the “Shuttle” tag for the route, not the route itself. I’m pretty sure DL isnt suspending the SEA-LAX or SFO-LAX but can’t speak on the “shuttle” tag being dropped, though I’m pretty sure one of my recent SEA-LAX trips the GA used the “Shuttle” tagline at the gate.

Maybe they're renaming it to something fancy like "Shuttle Select"

No. It is renamed to "Shuttle 1" with a Shuttle 1 check-in lounge.

Has Delta discontinued any of the dedicated check-in counters, Luvo snack boxes, and free booze that were part of the Shuttle branding?

Just flew this route yesterday from SEA to LAX. They still call this a shuttle flight and have free booze for the entire plane.

By any chance, did you mean . . . . .

"Shuttle One"?!? :D

I don't get why giving free booze for 1-hour flights is a big deal.

You already answered your question. "Free booze". Nothing more needs to be said.

Because it's a nice gesture to not nickle and dime customers in a lucrative market you're trying to capture market share in.....plus it sets DL aside from the competition.

Confirming the west coast shuttle is over effective Jan 4th 2018 :( LA-SF to only get "Express Beverage Service" in C+ and YC. Also sounds like DCA shuttle might be losing the Shuttle branding/service too, but not totally sure.

Can I ask where your info is from?
