Delta 777-200ER/LR Conversions to 7HD & 7HB. Pre-mods config is 37J/36W/218Y. For all the ERs and the first LR, post-mods config was initially 28J/48W/220Y (7HD/7HB). The post-mods config for all ERs and LRs is now 28J/48W/90Y+/122Y (7CD/7CB).

Modifications are taking place at SIN and the entry and exit dates are based on SIN time (GMT + 8 hrs). Comfort + installation was done at ATL on all the 7HD>7CD conversions, and on 7106 (7HB>7CB). The remaining 9 LRs had the C + cabins installed at SIN.

Thanks, that is helpful and good to know. I've also noticed the 777 has a wide cutout in the bulkhead wall that is sometimes open based upon pictures that I've seen. Anyone know what its purpose and typical configuration (open/closed) are?

If it's the same as in the old config, I think it's to improve cabin visibility for the FAs during take off and landing. IME it was closed when the cabin divider curtains were closed.

A DL press release from 4/3/19 references Ku wifi. Did they really skip the opportunity to add 2Ku on these refurbs? Emphasis mine.
  • State-of-the-art interior with full-spectrum LED ambient lighting, Gogo Ku Wi-Fi connectivity, free mobile messaging and power ports available at every seat.

....please check out the city pairs distances...now check out the ranges for both the 777-200ERs and the 777-200LRs.....you should then see why DL's route between the 2 city pairs needs to use the LR's only. BTW, the ATL-JNB city pairs is currently the longest DL route they have, and hence my gut feeling is why this will be the last city pairs to receive the 4 cabin layout after the ATL-PVG....which will be the only other city pairs using the pre upgrade 777 layout (this route could use the ER's but because DL has the ER's maxed out currently, this route is delayed til late 4Q 2019 or early 1Q 2020)

I've seen references to end of 2019, and I've seen remarks that the work could go a couple of months into 2020.

Does anyone have any seat preferences on the DL one product between MSP - HND? Any differences you might have noticed?

Looking at a flight about a year off, which would be on one of these retrofitted 777s. Booking with points so Delta One and Premium Select are out of the question sadly. Comfort+ is possible, and I noticed row 30 has 2 seats together, either A/B or H/J. Wondering what downside there are to these seats besides the IFE being in your armrest? It doesn't appear there are bathrooms there, just a bulkhead separating C+ from PE. If we could have a window and an aisle together, that would go a long way towards making this flight more bearable!

SeatGuru Seat Map Delta - SeatGuru
https://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Delta_Airlines/Delta_Airlines_Boeing_777-200ER_V2.php

On here it shows 40AB not having recline. Of course it also lists it as being Y, while DL shows it as Y+, so its probably not accurate. Has anyone flown in these seats? I assume they would be the standard Y+, but with pax congregating behind you for the toilet.

The seat map for my ATL- JNB flight in December just reconfigured to reflect the 4 cabins. Premium select award pricing was less than my current coach award so I promptly cancelled and rebooked in premium select

Great news...it was looking like these we going to be pushed to 1Q but was great to see my ATL-PVG flight switched for early December.
