Delta 777-200ER/LR Conversions to 7HD & 7HB. Pre-mods config is 37J/36W/218Y. For all the ERs and the first LR, post-mods config was initially 28J/48W/220Y (7HD/7HB). The post-mods config for all ERs and LRs is now 28J/48W/90Y+/122Y (7CD/7CB).

Did Delta put new seats In economy or did they just recover the old seats? Interesting that the pics don’t show any of the PTVs.

I'm guessing the space in the middle means that they didn't widen the seats to correspond with the wider airframe. That's unfortunate.

Where is this image? I am using an iPad Pro and when I click on the USA Today link, I see only 7A which is D1.

It's a whole slideshow, I think like 60 pictures. Click on full screen on the right and then scroll through.

I could not get a slide show on Chrome or Edge so I just went to the USA. Today app and now I see 65 slides.

Aren't PS seats on the A350 18.5 inches? If the same exact PS seats on the A350 are on the 777, that means the PS seats aren't any wider than regular Y seats (listed as 18.5 inches in the USA Today article) on the 777. I also noticed in the photo gallery that in D1, the odd # window seats are closer to the aisle, unlike the 767 and A350. I like being closer to the window and I assume most others do, so I'm not sure why DL changed it on the 777 from the others. (There are less true window seats in even rows than if they were in the odd rows)

Looks like Delta added a decorative wall like United did on the side of the bulkhead.

Surprised no one has mentioned how nice Y is looking with brand new seats, IFE, and most importantly, staying 3-3-3. I know many give DL crap here, but this is the first major retrofit of a 777 by an airline that has kept the 3-3-3 configuration in the rear. W is a bit tight but remember, every airline with W on the 777 has a 2-4-2 configuration. Just a couple have 2-3-2 W on the A350-900. Personally, I'd take greater recline and a more upright legrest than an extra inch of width. I didn't have much issue with the old 767-300ER Business Elite barcalounger. But to each his own.

I guess cause we've known for almost 2 years that it was gonna be 3-3-3.

Do you mean the diamond pattern on the bulkhead wall? That's been on every retrofit of DL's since at least the A330 retrofit, and on all new a/c in recent years.

I really enjoyed the old NW WBC lounges back when they flew DC 10. Now the crap they installed when got the A330s in early 2000s was awful. However loved the lounge. Feel it was better than what a number of airlines give in J today.
