Delta 777-200ER/LR Conversions to 7HD & 7HB. Pre-mods config is 37J/36W/218Y. For all the ERs and the first LR, post-mods config was initially 28J/48W/220Y (7HD/7HB). The post-mods config for all ERs and LRs is now 28J/48W/90Y+/122Y (7CD/7CB).

Modifications are taking place at SIN and the entry and exit dates are based on SIN time (GMT + 8 hrs). Comfort + installation was done at ATL on all the 7HD>7CD conversions, and on 7106 (7HB>7CB). The remaining 9 LRs had the C + cabins installed at SIN.

Fsulaw1, I have moved your inquiry into the big 777 reconfig discussion.

As your travel date approaches look for a seat map of the new 28J/48W/90Y+/122Y configuration. There should be 28 Delta One Suite seats.

7008 may now be in ATL for C+ mod. No future flights scheduled at time of this post.

This frame was mentioned earlier (...maybe in another thread) to have had the C+'s added in SIN at the same time when the suite upgrade was happening. Not so, I guess. The assumption here is then to have all 10 LR's being handled the same way: SIN for suite upgrades only, ATL for final C+ adds only.

Can anyone tell me if there's a bulkhead separating PS from C+? I am guessing yes? Then follow up question is... bulkhead mounted IFE or swing out?

Mods are complete on 7105 and it's heading back to MSP through NRT. I don't know if it has C+ or not.

I updated the WiKi to reflect the exit at SIN being on March 28, as all the entry and exit dates are based on SIN time (GMT + 8 hrs).

7008 showing RTS tomorrow on ATL-NRT, which should complete the 7CD mods. Interestingly, DL.com shows "Upgrade in Seat Map at Payment" in the C+ column on that flight...hadn't seen that before.

N705DN apparently had the 4-class cabin installed at SIN.

I booked a LGA-JNB trip for mid/late November via ATL. Was curious as to the rationale behind the ATL-JNB route likely receiving the refurb last. Is there a shot the LR for that route gets the suites by November?

Also was curious to hear the consensus on the 777 D1 cabin is pre and post refurb. Have read mixed responses on this forum-- the suites seem to resemble the coffin seats on the 767s (which aren't ideal for someone 6'3 with big feet), but some like the added privacy. Part of me is looking forward to flying the old config as it's one of two DL cabins I have yet to try (although the novelty would probably wear off by hour 2 of 15). In reality I don't really mind either way.

Maybe that. Maybe just aircraft utilization: they've finished the -200ERs but haven't made much progress on the -200LRs. ATL-JNB is a route that really needs an LR (or significant weight restrictions). I think the LRs are supposed to be completed by early 2020. Maybe there's a chance for one on a November 2019 flight.

By this summer, there will be sufficient modified LRs to reliably operate this route every single day if DL wanted to. So just saying that this route requires an LR isn't an answer. Fact is, DL prefers to use the new LRs elsewhere. I suspect they want to use them on more competitive routes.

I'm flying MSP-HND at the end of April and looking forward to seeing the refreshed 777. Does anyone know whether the last row (25) of Premium Select (specifically the center seats) has the same amount of recline as the rest of the cabin? I saw in another thread that it does on the A350, but haven't been able to find anything on the 777. Thanks!

I just flew HND-MSP a few days ago in row 25 and it was nice. It seemed like the full recline. One kind of weird thing is C+ is surprisingly close behind you, and could hear conversion really easily thru bulkhead. Headphones solved that... but still a little strange
