lyft Lux credit

Haven’t seen anyone post this yet. Maybe I got it earlier because I’m in NZ now and half a day ahead. The message says it a DM benefit.
$100 Lyft Lux credit for booking a black car with Lyft, good for multiple bookings until you use the $100.
Credit expires November 20, and I’m in NZ until November 23, so I guess I’ll be in standard Lyft cars.

I received this also. I plugged in a few hypothetical routes into the app and for me $100 amounts to one free airport drop-off or pick-up. Not going to look a gift horse in the mouth, and I can use it before 11/20, but it's not going to get me to use Lux again in the future...

I also received this. My husband did as well, though he's only a GM. A very nice unexpected surprise!

Same with my wife, who is a GM but she uses Uber. I use Lyft and was able to add both credits into my account, well done Delta!

Also got it and am very happy with that. I use Lyft all the time, but rarely use Lux.

Noticing that several of us who got it are SFO based. I'm guessing it is just a few select markets given that it's a very costly marketing push.

Addendum: Though I used it in San Francisco repeatedly not long ago. Could this be related?

OP's profile says DC also, so could be that multiple markets were targeted, although it would seem weird then that NYC (post #8 ) isn't included. Just rank speculation with inadequate data, though

At $100 per promo, that's a lot of money. And a good chunk of that $100 (I think 75%-80%) goes directly to the driver, so that's real cash that Lyft has to pay out that they are not taking in, so maybe they wanted to test the promo in some smaller but still high end markets. Both DC and SF fit that: Smaller cities that have lots of wealth and people who are likely to pay for Lux in the future. I'm curious if anyone based in LA or NYC got it.
