Million mile passengers

Just curious. Does anybody know what is the age of the youngest million mile passenger on SkyMiles Program? It would also help if you can post the age of the youngest 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-million mile flyer that you have crossed paths with. -thanKKs

Fun question!

Or... post your own if it's something that has never come up in casual conversation with others. I'll set the first mark... 46 for 1MM.

I hit 1MM miles at age 29. 2MM at 34

Back when Diamond Medallion was first launched, DL recognized the youngest Diamond member - a 3-year-old. So it is entirely possible there are some million milers out there with single-digit ages. I've seen a handful of others who achieved MM in their mid-to-late teens, and a substantial amount by their mid-20s.

I crossed paths with a 3MM in June 2013. From our conversation with numerous references to retirement planning, I guess he was in his early 60s.

No one is going to know with any accuracy. We have had reports of sub 1 year old DMs so I would suspect that is no more than low teens.

Not on paid ticket, since I was NRSA, but I am pretty sure I passed 1m BIS miles when I was 19 or 20. I am quite sure you will find revenue pax in their teens that hit 1m.

I will hit 1MM by end of year so I will be 60 :o:( only got to 0.5 M on Continental

skchin Oct 5, 2017 5:57 pm

1MM at 36

Whorne Oct 5, 2017 7:47 pm

1MM at 51

Hehe... my myopic onset was not well worded. Let's add the qualification for revenue miles flown.

Me: 27 y/o when I earned my first million redeemable points, 35 y/o when I reached 1MM butt-in-seat revenue miles, and finally, I wanna surpass 2MM before my 45th birthday in August 2018.

I'll hit the 1MM mark on AA sometime next year; will either be 23 or 24 depending on the date!

DLATL777 Oct 5, 2017 9:42 pm

1MM with DL at 24, BIS long before that.

Do you travel for your job? You must have started young!

apodo77 Oct 5, 2017 10:32 pm

Not young but wonder how unique I am.

I am closing in on 3 million miles flying but don’t have 1 million with any single airline (job transfers).

Continental was the closest at about 800K.
