Fake Texts?
Just got a text from "Delta Advisories" telling me to get to the airport -MSP- early due to "TSA Construction".
I'm not flying until next month and I'm not going anywhere near MSP. Anyone else? |
Also got the text, and I think it is real. I am flying our of MSP Monday, and the airport is remodeling a major portion of the security area, so long delays (unless you have precheck or clear), according the local newspaper.
Perhaps Delta just sent it to too many people... And from another thread, this email has gone out as well: Dear Delta Customer, Please be advised that the TSA South Check Point at MSP Airport is currently under construction and will only offer 2 TSA PreCheck lanes. We recommend that you use TSA North Check Point for Standard, SkyPriority and additional TSA PreCheck lanes. Thank you for flying Delta. |
I got it too. X2 i think they may be hitting everyone in error. This is legit as the line (SkyPriority even) was loooonnnnnnng the other morning.

I got a couple of unexpected texts this week telling me how to get through security at JFK T4. I was at JFK twice this week but it was a domestic - domestic connection point so no need to go through any security there.
|
I got the same text earlier this week. Currently sitting in MSP for my connection, so luckily doesn't actually matter to me.

They are certainly having "issues"
Maybe not fake, but I got a text telling me it was time to check in, a week before my actual flight.
More IT shenanigans from DAL. Every day it's another step down |
