I've long suspected that there's collusion between DL and WN at ATL. The buyout of FL and subsequent destruction of their ATL hub, the sweet 717 lease deal that WN gave DL, the dropping of what should be good routes like EYW. It smells.
We used to do that with DAY or SDF when CVG was a large hub. So obnoxious.

It isn't the same plane, but it is in the same family. It was the MD-95, IIRC, and it sold as poorly under the MD nameplate as it did as the 717.

$322 fare is still there, it just has a 30 day advance purchase.requirement and his travel is too close to meet that. The next fare available for midweek travel without a Saturday night stay is $700. RM is not playing around with inventory, it's just basic fare rules/restrictions that is catching OP. Booking further out or including a Saturday night stay is the only way around them.

The next week 13th-15th = $543
and the next week 20th-22nd = $328
All...just a matter of timing.

The only way to stop collusion is quite the opposite of keeping secrets. It is to be transparent and have a standard price set by the government just like the pre-deregulation days.

You don't get the point of collusion. It is not how much you know about your competition. It is all about how you work with your competitors to maximize (screw) customer's $$$$$$.

How do you feel airlines are colluding? What specifically do you find as so egregious that could only have been the result of airlines conspiring together?
